The training program of Davao Medical Center's Department of Anesthesiology is a three-year course accredited by the Philippine Board of Anesthesiologists. The first accreditation was granted on October 1979. Renewal of accreditation is given every three years and the latest is up to December 31, 2002.

At present, the department is comprised of ten residents, a chief resident, four active consultants and five visiting consultants.
