There must be a written order made by the Nephro resident in charge
or the consultant
No telephone orders are allowed since resident-in- charge are required
to stay inside the unit. In any event that a telephone order is made
, it should be countersigned by the resident-in-charge.
In times of emergency , the nurse may give emergency medications
based on the available protocol of the unit.
